Jachin Merrill

Jachin Merrill is a personal and professional development coach who partners with leaders at high-profile organizations worldwide. With more than two decades of experience leading high-performing teams, he coaches individuals at every level – from the C-suite to first-time managers – to strengthen leadership, communication, and impact.

His expertise spans conflict resolution, workplace mediation, emotional intelligence, human motivation, psychological type, and team building. As a certified conflict mediator, Jachin designs and leads seminars and workshops that help teams communicate more effectively, navigate conflict, and build stronger, more aligned working relationships.

Before coaching, Jachin was an Emmy Award–winning broadcast journalist and television news executive. He draws on this experience to help clients excel in public speaking, media training, and high-stakes communication—bringing a unique perspective on leadership under pressure and the realities of corporate environments.

Jachin has worked with leaders at organizations including AT&T, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Mars, Inc. He holds a degree in Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Oklahoma and has held leadership roles at Griffin Communications, NBC News, TEGNA, and Hearst Argyle Television. Based near Oklahoma City, he is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma and is an active volunteer with United Way.
